Super Fast Repair

Friday 21 October, 2016

A friend bought it back in about 2006 for his motorcycle. He always led rides when we were not sure how to get to remote places, never got us lost. He got a new bike with built in GPS so I bought the GPS with all the accessories.
The On/Off button disappeared around 2014. Garman said it in they would replace it for $150, and it would be returned in 2-3 weeks. I made a button and covered it with packaging tape so the internals would not get wet. Then the contact on the circuit board disappeared. Called Garmin, no more repairs.
I was told to call PalmDr. I did and the repair cost was a lot lower so I sent it in. A few days latter I called to tell them that I should have mentioned that the touch screen did not always work properly. Chris told me that he saw that and already fixed that also. And that the unit was ready to ship.
It works like new!
Great service. Grate price. What more can I say!
