I contacted Garmin and was told they no longer support the 1490. Does every device they make have a unique charging port? Come on, how foolish is that statement? I sent the GPS here and it was repaired and returned in seven days for what I can only describe as a bargain price. This was an expensive unit and I was happy somebody could cover for Garmin.
