I've used Short Tronics before and have always been pleased with the service. My items get fixed quickly and the repair does what it was intended to do. This last time involved a refurbished unit I bought from Chris. The device was well past the warranty and Chris fixed it at a reduced cost. He didn't have to, but he did. And it now works as it should.

Sent Chris my 2008 Garmin 545s from my Cape Cod saltwater fishing boat = sonar and trip recorder. I had pretty much given it up for dead. Got it back in a week at a very reasonable repair price. Not only works great it works better than when I first acquired the boat with the unit in 2010. Fish finder was never so accurate!!!

ZUMO 550 - It's Alive!

I had all but give up on getting my Garmin repaired. It was working great on my motorcycle and one day it wouldn't turn on. I stumbled across Chris after searching on-line and after a conversation discovered it maybe sudden death syndrome. I sent him the unit per his directions and it was repaired and sent back; works great! Saved me a lot of money not having to replace it with something new. Nice job.
