This is a refurbished PP-55 printer, it will be fully tested, and include a 90 day warranty against failure not caused by  the customer - just like the manufactures warranty but handled by www.PalmDr.com.  It WILL have scratches on the outside of the unit, these are only cosmetic and will not have an effect on the functionality of the printer.  The battery may or may not be new but will be fully tested to be within 90% of the specifications capacity.
